How do you start with a juice cleanse regime?
We suggest starting slow, to get your body to go without food. Try replacing a solid meal with a 500 ml Green Juice. The next step is to replace your lunch and dinner with a Citrus Juice and a Green Juice, while having a solid meal for breakfast.
If you feel alright, and you can go 2 meals without solid food. You are ready for a full 1-day juice cleanse.
What if I crave for food during the juice cleanse day?
Once you've started on a juice cleanse day, you might crave for a quick fix of fast food. Please resist this temptation and think of the benefits you will get the next day. Your body will feel rejuvenated and energized. As our Ayurveda based Juice Cleansing starts to take effect, you will soon realize that the food craving goes away during your juice cleanse days and the benefits will be so tangible, you will feel and see them as soon as 3 days after a juice cleanse.
How do you end a juice cleanse?
Do not immediately return to eating solid foods! Take your time and ease into your normal diet. In the first 24 hours after your cleanse, avoid all processed food (foods that have preservatives, are pasteurized, have added sugar or colouring, fast food etc.), sushi, dairy products, eggs, sugar, meat, chicken, or even fish. Also stay away from most starches (potatoes, cereals, wheat and rice). Finally, avoid all caffeinated drinks (sodas, coffee, black tea, etc.), alcoholic beverages, and condiments such as ketchup, sauces and artificial flavouring.
